On Friday, May 3 and Saturday, May 4, 2024 the Greenwell Springs Youth Riders (GSYR) Pro Rodeo was hosted in Central, Louisiana. Every year they host this event for rodeo riders and fans alike raising money for their organization and partnering with Dream Day Foundation.
The GSYR members offer VIP parking and VIP tickets (special seating section) for St. Jude Patients and Families who register and attend Dream Day Foundation’s Fishin’ Galore Program while also donating a portion of their fundraising total following the rodeo weekend!
We are excited to share that the GSYR Pro Rodeo donated $3,500 to Dream Day Foundation this year!
In addition, this year, a kind and generous young lady, Chloe Austin, took fundraising into her own hands (literally)! She spent the morning of the rodeo collecting pieces of fallen branches and limbs and tied them together with twine to create a cross made with love. She offered them for sale during the Rodeo Nights using a handwritten paper towel sign (pictured below) and raised $25.00 for Dream Day Foundation.
We thank Chloe for her creativity, the work she put into this fundraiser and her donation to help Dream Day Foundation continue our mission of supporting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital patients and their families.
