We are thrilled to announce that Josh Zumo has joined the Dream Day Foundation Board of Directors, bringing a wealth of expertise, dedication, and passion to our mission of creating unforgettable experiences for St. Jude patients and families.
Josh is a seasoned professional with 15 years of experience at Cajun Industries, where he currently serves as the Manager of Estimating for the company’s Civil Business Unit. His leadership in high-stakes environments has honed his strategic thinking and organizational skills, qualities that will undoubtedly strengthen our board’s vision and impact.
Deeply connected to the Dream Day Foundation’s legacy, Josh is proud to be the grandson-in-law of some of our founding board members, Gary and Linda Carmena. His commitment to our cause runs deep, evidenced by his decade-long volunteer service with Fishin’ Galore. Since 2014, Josh has been an integral part of the event’s success, currently serving as Logistics Team Lead, where he oversees all setup and takedown activities with precision and care.
Beyond his contributions to Dream Day, Josh is a respected leader in his professional and civic communities. He serves on the Board of Directors for Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC-Pelican) and has previously held roles as ABC Young Professionals Chair and a member of the Louisiana Association of Business and Industry (LABI) Emerging Leaders Council. His diverse leadership experience and commitment to community service make him a perfect fit for our board.
“We are excited to welcome Josh to the Dream Day Foundation Board,” said Marty Engquist, President of the Board. “His proven leadership, deep ties to our organization, and passion for our mission will help us continue to grow and make a meaningful difference in the lives of the St. Jude families we serve.”
Please join us in extending a warm welcome to Josh Zumo. Together, we look forward to advancing Dream Day Foundation’s mission and creating more moments of joy for those who need it most.
