St. Jude Patient Entrepreneur SPOTLIGHT
Callie is from South Louisiana. She was diagnosed with a juvenile pilocytic astrocytoma brain tumor in January of 2016. She underwent surgery to have the tumor removed and has remained tumor free throughout her follow-ups.
She is 13 years old and reached her 8 year tumor free milestone on January 11, 2024. Callie designs earrings for sale to raise money for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Callie also designs bracelets which she distributes to in-patient St. Jude children at the St. Jude affiliate clinic in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
Callie designed these earrings exclusively for Dream Day Foundation!! Callie worked to create 25 pair of each with the goal of raising $500.00 to sponsor a St. Jude patient and family to attend Dream Day Foundation’s Fishin’ Galore Program.

Melvin Demby is the father of a former St. Jude patient, Ashley, who attended Dream Day Foundation’s Fishin’ Galore. Ashley’s favorite part of the day was riding the ponies. The Demby’s now attend Fishin’ Galore in honor of Ashley’s life and to connect with other St. Jude families. All proceeds from the sale of this shirt go directly to creating lasting memories, joyful experiences and costs associated with hosting Fishin’ Galore. Order here:
